Obviously didn't watch the whole video yet, jumped ahead a bunch of times and watched a bit each time. Very good, looking forward to watching the whole thing :)
An hour of the 6 was spent debating the gas detection system healthy signal 😂 - normally open all day long with the monitoring circuit wired nc. Great video bud
Apologies if you do/did cover it I have not watched the video but will What software do you use to draw up schematics for your projects? or can you advice
Just want to make sure my membership application is not overlooked. I was not prompted to upload my profile picture or bio before submitting my membership request. I did immediately add a picture and bio right after but want to make sure the membership request is not simply accepted or denied based off the answers to the two questions… I would love to be a member and take your course
As someone who actually designs industrial control systems, having basic schematics like these is better than nothing but proper component identification, cross references and plain text descriptions are a must. Cable designations are also required.Talking about daisy chaining for neutrals and zero volts at the beginning but no terminals shown on the schematics. The schematics are a digital representation of the actual as built system, missing components is a no go. A wiring diagram can be a more simplistic conection overview. Plus single channel safeties is also something you just wouldnt do these days.
About the relays: so here ruclips.net/video/n594CkrP6xE/видео.html they say that relays have primary side(coil) and secondary side(poles 1,2,3,n). The secondary side is the side we refer at when we say "Normally Closed" or "Normally Open" and by "Normally" we mean "when no current flows through the primary(coil) side". Maybe this helps understanding how relays work as it did for me. As for what R1/1 or R1/2 refers at I don't know.
